Elastic - Marketing Automation Program Manager

My role involves constructing, implementing, and sustaining continuous demand-generation initiatives. Specifically, I oversee the global email merchandising channel and establish AI and API-powered personalization in emails, handle email templates, devise automation program structures to tackle intricate issues, and establish and execute a scalable A/B testing program. As the go-to person for email marketing, I relish the opportunity to experiment with fresh tactics using dynamic content, create self-sustaining automation programs, and deliver optimal experiences for customers and prospects by perpetually refining their experiences.

More recently, I have been a part of building internal software to provide marketing stakeholders with a tool to view our 800+ reusable audiences, request approval for ring-fenced audiences from the audience owners, and instate email governance to put our customers 1st.

Additionally, I have been project managing a truly cross-functional effort to optimize our YouTube Channel by forming a steer co. and workstreams. I have brought on new tech (TubeBuddy) and onboarded members of our social, content, and SEO teams to use the product, provided live stream requirements/logistics to our events team, successfully added 3 new keynote speaker live streams to our channel, piloted shorts & advertising on YouTube, and helped coordinate technical content pilot and video production playbook. All resulted in channel views being up by 28% and subscribers up by 10% in 10 months while balancing my normal load mentioned above.

At Pluralsight, I am obsessed with testing, reporting, and optimizing on my channels to achieve B2C marketing initiatives. Day-to-day duties include strategy and execution of newsletters, quarterly engagement campaigns, quarterly promotions, nurture programs, transactional emails, and one-off emails as needed to hit B2C revenue goals. Additionally, I manage Drift (chat-bot) that help drive free trials, freemium engagement, and revenue. Moreover, I oversee digital execution of setting up banners, offer codes, and landing pages for B2C Promotions.

At Experticity, I worked closely with the Senior CRM Marketing Manager to help support B2C and B2B marketing initiatives. My duties included creation, delivery, and reporting of B2C promotional emails such as newsletters and flash events via Selligent, ownership of B2B marketing automation acquisition efforts via Marketo, and contributing overall to CRM strategy.

I spent the majority of my time working in Marketo, Wordpress, Adwords, and LinkedIn. Automation duties included managing lead routing, nurture streams, triggered campaigns, batch campaigns, and email campaigns. Media duties included managing new content on site, ad creative, and media strategy. Additionally, I coded emails and web pages, managed and created digital assets, support internal teams, and reported on B2B lead generation metrics to the broader marketing and sales teams.

At Experticity, I worked closely with the Media Marketing Manager to help support all paid media initiatives across many different platforms, such as LinkedIn, SmartBrief, trade publications and more. My duties included: producing digital assets, posting ads, creating UTM's, creating landing pages (gated and ungated) in Marketo, managing relationships with publication partners, reporting, and contributing to overall paid media strategy. 

Additionally, I worked closely with the Customer Success Marketing Manager to create B2B post-sale collateral for the Sales and Client Success teams. I helped coordinate and manage case studies, marketing automation platforms, events, webinars, client anniversaries, and more.

Moreover, I assisted the creative and B2C teams with design tasks including creation white-papers, case study wireframes, rebranding digital assets, internal & external powerpoints, client branded imagery for emails, and more.

As Director of Events I managed, set up, and organized events for the club. I successfully implemented the 1st Annual Marketing Week at the University of Utah. Guest speakers included Julian Carr, professional Skiier and CEO of Discrete Headwear and Burke Alder, V.P. of Marketing for Lendio. I worked closely with Skullcandy to sponsor events and giveaways during the week. Backcountry.com - Customer Service Representative (Gearhead)

As a Gearhead, I would assist customers via an online chat room.
